D Dave Oct 9, 2009 #2 To see your storage location, Open Windows Mail, go to Tools - Options - Advanced - Maintenance - Store Folder It's normally C:\Users\<yourlogin>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail \Appdata is normally hidden Email messages are stored as individual .eml files. Contacts are stored in C:\Users\<yourlogin>\Contacts
