Does XP temporarily store a password that was used on my PC for accessing an
email /webmail site? Can I find that password if I know the email address
accessed and webmail site used? If so, How do I do that?

Hi Vita-Man,

If XP did store your site passwords it would be in a cookie but I'm afraid
they would be encrypted, so I think you will be unable to find them or read
them.

Kind Regards

Here is a program that will do what you want:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/internet_explorer_password.html

Alternatively:
Go to the page where the email address belongs to and fill you email
address and place your cursor in password column.
If XP has the password for that email address, it will fill it
automatically.
