Find/Replace UNCHECK search fields as formatted

How can I make the Search fields as formatted in the
Find/Replace form (looking for e.g. ClientName)
UNCHECKED as default.
Searching with checked takes a very lond time
unchecked finds name immediately.
I now have to Uncheck everytime to make the search
quick.

If you would describe WHAT you are trying to accomplish, rather than HOW,
the 'group readers might be able to offer alternative approaches.

I have been trying to do this exact same thing. Every time I open the Find or Find/Replace search box from a form, the "Search Fields as Formatted" check box is ALWAYS checked, causing a lengthy search unless you manually uncheck the box first. I have never needed to search for formatting while doing data entry or retrieval.

Is there any way to set this check box to false, either with set up options, properties or programatically?
