Find & Replace Include Files

I have an include file throughout my site that I'd like to replace with a
different include file throughout.

I'm aware that I could simply change the content of the problem include and
all would be well but I don't want to do that as I'm getting rid of the
folder in which the file resides.

Could anyone please explain whether I can use the Find & Replace function to
achieve this and if so how?

Thanks

Gerry

Why not change the current include file, then move it out of the folder you want to get rid of. This
would be better then trying to replace the file name, since the path would not be updated correct
using search and replace unless all pages using the include are at the same level.

Hi Thomas ...

If I change the content of the current include file then drag it into the
folder where I want it to be, I assume that links to this file throughout the
site will still be looking for the original include file so the little red
cross will appear wherever the include is currently located?

If the Include is a FP Include, then all links to the file will be updated. If the file is a
Server-Side Include (SSI) then you will have to manually update the link to the include page.

The little Red X only appears for missing images.
