Find Feature issues

I am having an issue with the find feature for Outlook XP.
The symptom is that when ever you start a search it starts in Feb 07, then
to the last message in the users box (2003), before searching the most
current items.
We moved from Exchange 2000 to Excahange 2003 in Feb 07.
Is there a default setting in the registry that I can change to fix this?
