Find and replace funtion doesn't go forward normally

Hi,

Find and replace funtion doesn't go through recordset . I'm using it normally, choosing first the look in field
and then it finds the first matching record but then when pressing find next -button I get the message
Access has finished searching the records even though there are more. I'm using now Access 2002.
With Access2000 I did not have this problem. Can anybody give a hint what to do.

Hi Pauli,

You might want to check the setting that determines what part of the field.
In Access 2000 the default is Whole Field, which does not always find all
occurrences, whereas Any part of the field will.

Thanks for advice. It helped me notice that in the Find and replace windo
there is a check box Search fields as formatted. It must be of
when I'm doing my query. This is a new feature in Access2002
