find all related messages

can anyone tell me why when I right clicked 'find all' then 'related
messages' on a particular email message the result returned incoming messages
of other emails I've received. I'm getting these supposed unrelated messages
from people responding to an employment ad. Is it that the same person is
responding using different email addresses and if so how does outlook know
they are related? 'BCC' maybe? Any help please, thanks
 
forget it I just realized that I used different subject lines in the various
ads and that certain emails were 'related' because of the same subject lline.
Thanks anyway and I feel stupid
