Hi All,

Imagine I have in Cell B1 a number.

In an array (to be selected) assume Column A filled with a couple
hundred numbers (postive, negative).

Is there a way to verify whether I can re-compose the number in B1 by
ADDING (only!) some of the values in array A?
eg.adding value in A24, A56, A324,...matches exactly value B1!
Highlighting B1 and the corresponding values in the A array when SUM
exactly matched?

All help welcome, Sige

Sige,

The answer is no, not without a supercomputer.

Hi Bernie,
I was already afraid so ...
Just hoping that some mad mathematician had already figured out one or
the other ingenius algebraic model / routine.

Cheers, S.
