Filtering so slow

I have no idea why but when I used to filter on something, it is really quick
but for some reason now, everytime I filter on something in a datasheet, it
is very slow and on the bottom it says "running query" each time, even when I
"remove the filter" it does the same thing, can someone help please in
getting rid of the "running query" each and everytime I filter on something?

You'll have to explain in more detail. What is it that you're
filtering? A Table? Are there any Indexes on the fields you're using
for the filter (they'll make the query much faster)? Have you tried
removing the filter altogether (unselect the funnel icon in the
toolbar)?

You may also want to Compact the database - there might be a lot of
"trash" data sitting around that needs to be cleaned out.
