filtering an access 2007 table

In a pre test paper I am asked to 'create a filter that only shows the first
6 records of a table'
I have tried every mothod I know, Advanced Filter, changing the property in
the table, clicking the filter button in the Datasheet - deselcting all -
then selcting the first 6 record. But it keeps saying I've failed the
question. Anybosy got any ideads please?????

Take a look at the TOP predicate.

And to ensure you are getting only 6 records, make sure your sort
includes the primary key of the table.
