Filtering Alpha numeric text

I have received a spreadsheet that contains a column with
all of the part numbers a particular customer has bought
from my company. We need to analyze this but the problem
is that there are many duplicate part#s because they were
purchased numerous times. Is there a way to select a
column ans have it remove or filter out all duplicates?
