filter out empty cells in row

Hi,
I am sure this is easy, but I don't know where to look. I have a
spreadsheet that has a persons name in column A then each day of a
month across the next 31 columns. Across from each persons name for
that certain day is hours of class time. A lot of the cells for each
person is blank as they have no class hours. What I need to do is
filter out so that only those people with class hours for that month
show up. Can someone help me?
 
Hi

personally i would "cheat" a bit on this and insert a new column that either
added up their hours for the month and then use the AutoFilter (data/filter
/ autofilter) to filter on people greater than 0.
