I have installed Netcom3 Internet Security and many errors appeared in my PC.
Unistalled it but many issues kept on. I restored system to a date prior to
such installation, but I cannot find any contact in Windows Contacts. I type
the first character in the search box, and it stops searching. How do I
recover from such situation? Same applies to Windows Explorer. I can't find
anything.

For address completion, Windows Mail doesn't use the contacts list. It uses
a separate list of the last 29 addresses you sent messages to. This list is
part of the registry and very hard to edit. It's easier just to send
messages
to the 29 addresses you want on the list. It looks like the uninstallation
has
erased or damaged this list.

If you'd rather use the contacts list, start a new message and don't type
any part of the address. Instead, click on Tools, then Select Recipients
in the new message window.

Hi Robert,
I've seen you often give this advice. Isn't it easier to click on "To"?
