Filter defaults

When I open a table and perform a Record/Filter/Filter by Form, there are
default values in there.

Is there a way to have the table open without defaults in there? I know all
I have to do is click the "X" to clear them, but there are others who are
used to the form opening without the defaults there and now they are having a
tizzy!

Hi Donna, well hopefully you were able to put those records back. The X --
means delete, in case you hadn't figured that out. If you haven't gotten
those records back, ask your IT department, if they can pull last night's
back up and restore it. Now for your question...I don't think it's very
clear, what do you mean by default values there? Can you give a couple
examples please? I'd love to help you. But I gotta know a little more info.

OK, I figured out that I hadn't cleared the grid and SAVED the form upon
exit. Dumn, dumn, dumn.....
