Filter by form

Hi,
I have a form which when opened automatically opens a filter by form screen.
If the user gets into this screen and want to get out without using the
filter they have to click 'close' twice. Is there any way to avoid this? Are
there any ideas on a way around? cheers!
 
Create your own close button. Disable the windows close button.
 
I have created a close button and put it in the form header, but when the
form is in filter mode this close button is disabled. is there a way I can
close the filter screen and the actual form with only one click? thanks.
