Yea, sure did. I knew that but forgot.
But I have another question. Hmmmm.
Let's say I put a value in a cell. Call it 8
Then let's say I put a value in another cell. 8 again. When I put a
value in the second cell that matches the value in the first cell is
there a way to make the first cell change to a fill color I want?
This is confusing because it doesn't involve a formula.
Thanks again for the fill answer.
You should still be able to use Conditional Formatting...
After clicking the [format...] button, there are 3 tabs:
• Font
• Border
• Patterns<-------Use this one
Does that help?

I know how to use conditional formatting to change the text color in a
cell. But I'm at a loss as to how to make a cell "fill" with a color.
It must be something simple.
