Excel Fill in data based on key code in Excel

hi! i need to do an equipments inventory in excel. is it possible to input an equipment code and then the description, brand, serial no, etc will appear in the next columns beside it. please help. thank you guys.

Yep, that's possible in Excel - you'll want to use VLOOKUP. There's a good tutorial on how it works here:
