Hi, al

would appreciate someone can let me know how to fill in blank/empty cell with zeros. I need to do the operation for over 100 sheets.

Thanks a lot

Regards, Lily

Hi
try the following:
- select your range
- hit F5, click 'Special' and choose 'Empty cells'
- click OK
- enter a zero and hit CTRL+ENTER

Hi Lily

the edit / goto / special / blanks will only work on cells that have
formatting on them - so to work around this, select your sheets,
highlight the range to add 0 to
click on the background fill and set it to a colour
then use Frank's method to get 0 into the cells
then take the background fill off
then ungroup your sheets

Let us know how you go

Cheers

I tried but it didn't work. When I get to Go to special windown, there is
no selection as "Empty Cell". Instead, I click "Blank Cell", but it said
"No cells were found."

Hi Lily

addendum to my previous post - it looks like you have to do every sheet
separately :(
unless all the blanks are in the same place in every sheet.
you might want to record a macro & loop it through your sheets

Hi
sorry, I meant 'Blank cells' (wrong translation on my side).
In your selected range should be some empty cels before you go to this
dialog. Are you sure that your cells are really empty and do not
contain anything (formulas, spaces, etc.)
