I want to generate a letter to each person in my table that lists the
crops they planted. I can use Word to create one letter per crop, but
not multiple crops in one letter. I have spent most of the last three
days fumbling in Access and reading posts, doing searches, trying to
accomplish this task. I am a novice Access user, but proficient in
Excel & Word.

I have a table with name/address information, and a table that lists
crops associate with the name. My fields are name, add1, add2, city,
state, zip in the address table, and name, crop with name listed
multiple times in the crops table.

I tried pasting the letter text from my word document into an unbound
text box, but I get a 'too long to edit' message. I also am unclear on
how to connect the two tables so the report will show the data. I also
tried pivot tables but don't know how to get that info into the
letters.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If I need to provide more
information, please let me know. Thanks.

Revisit Word merge documents. There's a field in Word that allows you to
use a data file to fill multiple lines.
