How do i create a file and also scan an item to be filed
Check your programs for the File> New command in the menu bar. Using this
will start a new file. After doing whatever you want with that file, use
File> Save to save it on the hard drive for future use.
Right clicking the desktop and selecting New> will uncover a handy list of
different document templates. Click on one to launch the program. It will
open with a blank document ready for your input.
Start> Help and Support> Windows Basics> Core Windows Tasks will help you
learn more about the basic tasks performed almost every day in Windows.
Scanning: Check your scanner software directions. Basically, you will use
that software to prescan the document. Select what you actually want
captured. Then select Scan To: Your software should have the standard
offerings such as Scan To File, Scan To Program, etc. Follow the onscreen
prompts to complete.
