Files Waiting to Be Written to the CD

At bootup, and at other times, and especially if I go
into explorer and look at files on a CD, I'm getting a
balloon box, "Files are waiting to be written to the
CD." I am not trying to write anything to the CD. Is
there any way to stop this inappropriate message from
displaying?
 
Stewart, click on the Balloon Box and see what files are ready to be
written.
