Files not found

Well firstly "file not found error".Around 60% of the generalised
components complain during the build with this error.Till yesterday
the TD worked fine.
Now dont tell me its the Repo or path problems.worst case option left
i might reinstall my server.

Any chances for me not to reinstall

I've had this happen a few times. Something gets corrupt I think. After I
reinstall the component database and repositories (i.e. Database Setup from
CD 1) I can build again.

Thats not a good news for me my friend.Forget eating my time but to
make the database additions ( .

Yes I know. Every time I have had to do this I had to re-import my custom
components into the db. Fortunately, I only have about 10 or so.

Have you installed any kind of virus protection software or anything else
recently? If so, try disabling the software and rebuild your run-time.
I've heard that some virus protection software sometimes prevents access to
the component database.

Are you running the tools on the same system as the server, or are you
running them remotely? You may just want to try using the tools on the same
system as the server to see if it's just a tools issue. Maybe you can just
reinstall the tools on your client?

Also, check in explorer that you have the correct read/write permissions to
the component database (I'm sure you've done this) and check in Component DB
Manager that all of your repositories show up under the "repositories" tab.

Software for Antivirus installed.
