files not downloading in Vista

I too am having difficulty with downloaded files not being saved in assigned
folders.I updated Vista and my video, music and photo files cannot be located
after being downloaded, and this is from sources I never had problems with.I
would also like to know how to resolve this problem.

Look at the save dialog before hitting ok to see what the destination is. It
might be Documents, it might be Downloads, etc. You have the option to
decide where you save your files.
