Files compressed by Win2K's disk cleanup program

Can anyone help with this problem ?

Whilst running disk cleanup in Win 2K it offered a tick
box 'Compress older files'

How can these files be restored or uncompressed ?

Searches on Technet give no clues.

All help appreciated
 
Select the folder containing "compressed" file, R-click, Properties,
Advanced, UNcheck Compress contents.

Or you can do the same for individual folders

Also this info can be found in Win2k Help by searching on "compressed".
