Files and Settings Transfer Wizard

Need instructions on how to use the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard
with an external drive. Basically my old computer wouldn't boot, and I
need to upgrade to something faster so I bought a new computer. I put
the old hard drive in an external case and case access the files.
Being lazy, I'd rather use the wizard rather that manually copy over
the settings, email, favorites, etc.

The XP help page addresses all scenarios expect migrating from an
external drive.

You can't use F.A.S.T. to do this. It only works on the source files if you
are logged on as the user you want to transfer from. You would need to boot
from the old drive in order to use F.A.S.T. to transfer files from it.
