FilePicker dialog box in 2002

Using Access 2002, I am attempting to open a file picker dialog box.(Browse
to and select a file). I cannot get this to work. When I attempt to DIM a
FileDialog object ("Dim fd as FileDialog"), I get an error about "undefined
custom type", even though the MSO 10.0 objects library reference is checked
(in references).

I am cluseless as to how to proceed. Any assistance would be deeply
appreciated.

Dennis, I have to agree with Duane.

The FileDialog requires the extra references, doesn't work in the
mde/runtime, and doesn't work at all for SaveAs (even though it appears to
offer that option), so it's about as useful as a can of dinosaur repellent.

That worked. Thank you. I was thinking there was a cleaner way in Access
2002. Do you know of one?
