Filename too long to delete file

Greets. Just went to clean out a bunch of cache
directories from an old windows install that's not being
used anymore.

I went to delete all the Documents and Settings files, and
encountered troubles when trying to delete the directory:

Documents and Settings\administrator\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

I was able to delete all files within this directory
except 3:

0N7VU45T\titlemaindetails;p=titlemaindetails;g=Action;g=Com
edy;g=Drama;g=Thriller;dcopt=ist;sz=468x60;kw=tt0106856;g=A
ction;g=Comedy;g=Drama;g=Thriller;ord=16[1]

7NDNBXOK\titlemaindetails;p=titlemaindetails;g=Animation;g=
Action;g=Adventure;g=Fantasy;dcopt=ist;sz=468x60;kw=tt03692
81;g=Animation;g=Action;g=Adventure;g=Fa[1]

Q1GPT9FW\titlemaindetails;p=titlemaindetails;g=Thriller;g=A
ction;g=Crime;g=Romance;dcopt=ist;sz=1x1;kw=tt0108399;g=Thr
iller;g=Action;g=Crime;g=Romance;ord=15735[1]

I try to delete the files and it says "Cannot delete file:
The filename you specified is invalid or too long. Specify
a different filename."

2 questions arise here.
1) What kind of data-brain-aneurysm would allow windows to
create a cache file with a filename too long for it's own
standards?
2) (the more practical question) How can I delete this
file and clean up that drive?

Go into msdos mode
cd to the actual directory
have you tried using a dos wild card? such as:

del *.*

or

del *Romance*.* (something very unique for each file),
or if you can find something common for all three, so much
the better.

good luck
