Filename in footer automatically in new workbook.

Can anyone tell me how to get the filename in the footer automatically
in a new workbook.

Hi,

I don't see how you can change the usual blank workbook created by File-New.
However you could use 'New from template' on the task pane. You would have to
create template (really just an ordinary XLS) with the header/footer set &
save as an XLT. When you save as an XLT it should save the file to your
custom templates directory.
