File update.exe ver 6.3.0003.0, what to do with it?

After a clean reinstall fom the recovery disk on my ASUS laptop and several
passes of automatic Windows update everything works quite fine.
I just wonder what to do with two files "update.exe" that I found in
separate folders with long numbered names in root directory.
They are authored from Microsoft, both about 700 kB long. The description
says they are "Windows Service Pack Setup" version 6.3.3.0 and 6.2.29.0.

Should I run them or are they just remainders from the setup and can I
delete them without any problem?

Using Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600

No need to run them, they are the remnants of your Service Pack and or
Security Updates.
As far as I know they are never used by Windows after the update.
