I have a routered network running xp pro.......on my HP
comp, i can view other computers on the network and i can
allow other computers to transfer files TO the HP no
problem with no speed troubles, however, when i try to
copy files from the HP to other comps, the transfer is
VERY slow, it shows the transfer progress bar but
terminates with an error "path is too deep" but the files
arent found deep in folders
the windows xp firewall is disabled, norton internet
securty is disabled, drivers updated but still no luck

What can i do??

thanks

Sandro,

please have a look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxNetwork.htm.

It could be a duplex problem or a hardware problem, for example.
