i have my windows xp on a small hard drive and need to transfer it to a larger hard drive. the folders and files along with the setting off all the

updates how can i accomplish this the easy way. ha ha...

If you buy a retail hard disk it will come with complete directions and
software for transferring everything from the old disk to the new. You
will find even more details on the disk manufacturer's web site.

You may wish to visit the support website of the manufacturer of your
new hard drive and see if they have a free utility program that you can use to
accomplish this task. For example, if you have a new Western Digital drive,
you can download their free Data Lifeguard Tools which includes "drive-to-drive
copy capability" (Ref: http://support.wdc.com/download/).
