am trying to convert a csv file with approximately 150,000 records. Excel is
loading the first 65,000. How do I split this file so it can be converted?

I just got that file to import into Access, 165330 records of it. Then tried
an export from Access to Excel and went to Excel and tried to import the
access version. It stopped on the same identical record # so there must be
file size limits in Excel that we can't get around.

Hi Barb,

An Excel worksheet only has 65,536 rows, so even if you were to put all
that data into Excel you would fill 2 1/2 worksheets with it. When you have
that many records, Access or some other database is almost always the right
place to store the data. Is there something you need to do with the data
that can't be done in Access?
