File tips

How do I include a modified date in the yellow box (pop up) that comes up
when I move the pointer over an individual file? The type of file and size
are included in the yellow box but it used to have modified date in there as
well.

Thank you!

My XP automatically shows the modified date (and the file size).
I use Details view
Also, I have a setting in Folder Options checked off:
-Folder Options
-View tab
-"Display file size information in folder tips"
Strangely, changing either of the above seemed to have no effect on whether
this information was displayed or not. For me, it is always natively there.

I have the details view set up the same way. I am referring to the yellow
pop up box when arrowing over a file. The only information that shows up is
the file type and size. It used to reflect modification date too.

Not sure whether you did this part?

Yes, I did do that part. It may have something to do with Windows Server
2003. I just noticed that all files on my hard drive will reflect
modification date. When I arrow over a network file, it only includes the
file type and size.
