What is WinXP Home Edition's default file system?
NTFS or FAT32?
Where on my computer can I find that information?
Thanks,
Jack

There is no default. The choice of file system is made during setup. Most
OEMs elect to install NTFS.

You can determine the file system of any drive by right clicking the drive
in Windows Explorer and selecting properties. The general tab on the
properties sheet tells the file system on that drive.

Jack,
The XP default is NTFS. One place: Start/My computer/right click the Hard
Drive icon/on the drop down Menu, click "Properties"/under the "General" Tab
you will find information about your file system.
