File System problem

Yes I know, this isn't the rigth forum. Can anyone direct me to it?

Or can anyone answer me?

Here's the situation. I have a NTFS partition on a hd. It seems that the
volume is corrupt or the fat. When I try to enter the driveletter in command
prompt it says: "The volume does not contain a recognised file system. Please
make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the
volume is not corrupted."

TIA

Hi Kenneth,

I would try:

microsoft.public.win2000.general OR
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general

Good luck! Ken.
