File splitter for Linux and Windows?

Hi there,

I need to split 1GB files in a Linux server, then I will download the chunks
to a Windows PC and unsplit them to get the original file.

Any software recommendations for this?

The venerable HJSplit is just what you are looking for. It's been
around for ages and works perfectly.

Another place where you can get a toolkit of Unix tools
