File Size

Hi
I am concerned about the size of my Excel Workbook [43 MB] could anyone tell
me if there is any immediate concern with a file this size? i.e. data
integrity or crashing?
I intend to share the file across a network and the computers accessing the
file will be modern computers with roughly 2GHz Processor, 1 GHz Ram; running
WINXPS2.

I understand it can depend on other programs running at the time on your PC,
what about when the file is shared?

Thanks in advance.

cheers

As such this isn't too big a file for Excel to handle. It will be slow in
loading and saving, but it should work.

Now THAT is a concern. Sharing Excel files is a dangerous thing to do as Excel
isn't up to the task. Many people report problems with shared files, like
corruption of the file, loss of data, changes not being saved or being saved
wrongfully.

If you need multiple users editing information at the same time, do not use
Excel. Use a database application instead. Like Access or SQL Server.
