File size

I have a Word 2003 document that has tripled in file size recently (from
about 5 MB to over 16 MB). I have tried everything in the MS Word help to
manage the file size, but nothing significantly reduced the file size.

Does anyone have any suggestions (beyond what is in the help files) on how
to reduce the file size?

Thanks,
Ted

Display the formatting marks (CTRL+* or press the ¶ button ) Select all but
the last paragraph mark. Copy and paste to a new blank document based on the
same template. Save with a new name.
