All,

Hope you can help. I've compiled a presentation made up of various slides
from various departments. Up to the point I add one slide from one
department the file size is 1.6 Megabytes. When I add the slide the file
size jumps to almost 14 megabytes. There are no pictures or graphics, all
the slide is is text. I've checked to see if there was any imbedded VB or VB
Script, all is normal. Anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this.
Heck, I've even deleted everything from the slide and it was still over 13
Megs. I delete the slide and the file size drops to 1.6 Megs again. I can
recreated the file ok, but would like to chase this issue to ground.

Thanks in advance

Rodger

You might try creating a presentation with just this slide and saving
that presenation as a Web Page. There might be some embedded media file
(I'm guessing a large sound file or a large picture). Media files will
get extracted when saved as an HTML file so you can track down what is so
big.
