File sharing

Just reading on file sharing in the latest Computeractive magazine.

It recommends going into control panel>folder options and view tab then
scrolling down to the bottom and ticking 'use simple file sharing
(recommended)

I have looked for this option and its not there. Why could this be?

You need to log on as The Administrator (assuming you have XP Home
edition) in safe mode to be able to do this AFAIK.....

according to MS, you can't turn off simple file sharing in XP home.
