File Sharing with Mac OS X 10.3.1

Has anyone here added a Win XP computer to a Mac home
network? I have a G4 running 10.3.1 as my main desktop.
I turned on Windows File Sharing and should be able to
see the files because the Mac uses Samba server. I can't
get my new XP laptop to connect to the G4, though. I
want to copy my iTunes library to my XP iTunes library as
well as several of my MS Office files so that I'll have
them on the road. Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.

I've not tried what you're trying, but I've done it the
other way around. Could you create a new folder on the
XP machine that is shared, and then connect to that
folder from the Mac? Once you're connected you can push
the files from the Mac to the PC instead of pulling
them. To connect using the Mac, go into the Finder and
choose the last item off the Go menu (Connect to
Server...) and enter the IP address of the XP machine.
