File Sharing problem

hi,

I have two computers here running both Win XP Pro SP2. Both systems connect
to a router that connects to an ADSL modem. I have just run the Home or
Office networking Wizard on both so I can share internet and share files
between the two systems. This seems to have worked fine....I can now access
the net from both systems....but I'm having problems sharing files

On "System 1" I can access the shared folder files on "System 2"
But on "System 2" I get an error if I try to access shared folder on system
"System 1"

The error message says : "You may not have permission to use this Network
Resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find whether you have
access permissions"

Ok...so I contacted "Me" coz I'm the administrator of the 'server' - ie:
"System 1" and I found out that I don't know how to enable such
permissions...."

So I guess I want to know....

1. How do I set the appropriate permissions so System 2 access System 1
2. And...and this is secondry. How come system 2 doesn't demand the same
permissions from system 1?

Oh and if you're thinking the Windows Firewall is the culprit - it isn't.
The error occurs whether Windows Firewall is on or off.

So any advice would be helpful

hi,
check if you have on system2 Use simple file sharing checked and uncheck
(windows explorer->tools->folder option->Advanced Settings ). Also check
sharing permision and NTFS rights on the share on system1
