File sharing Issue

I am trying share files between two computers. One computer is hard wired
directly to a Linksys Wireless Router and the other computer is connecting
wirelessly with a wireless expander in between. I am able to get online with
both computers and after setting up a new network I am able to see the
computer. I have already set sharing with the drives I want seen. For some
reason I can only view the wireless computer from the one that is wired, but
no folders that are being shared. On the wireless computer I cannot even see
the wired computer on the router. Can anyone give me any tips on this? Thanks
a million.

Jaime,

Chances are you have one of several possible problems.
# Registry setting restrictanonymous.
# Misconfigured / overlooked firewall.
# Browser conflict.

Check restrictanonymous on each computer.

Look for any misconfigured or overlooked firewalls. What antivirus products do
you use?

Diagnose a browser conflict by running "browstat status" on all computers.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" for each computer,
and some details about your network, here.

Thanks Chuck I figured it out. It was my firewalls on both computers. I had
to allow connections on the network. It's kind of slow though. Is there
anything I can check to fix this?
