File Shares in AD

We have been publishing file shares in AD for a while and as we are trying to
move users away from accessing via drive letters, Favorites work for some
users, but since we publish shares with keywords etc, it would be nice if we
could search for and access shares that way. The Built in search allows
searching for files and folders, printers, computers etc. but ADUC is
required to search for shares and we didn't really want to roll out ADUC to
everyone just for shares. Is there a way to integrate the share search into
regular windows search?

Open My Network Places.
Click on Search Active Directory in the left panel.

Toggle the drop down to shared folders.
ON the Advanced tab, toggle to Keywords.
Input keword and press Find.
