file recovery

how d i undo a delete for an entire folder without having
to purchase a program that does it. I've tried trial
versions of programs, but the files in the folder are too
large and it says i need to purchase the program.

There is a freeware recovery program here:

Provided the files have not yet been overwritten it should help.
