File properties when hovering mouse over a file/folder

Somehow I have lost the functionality of seeing file properties like : Title,
Date modified, size etc in windows explorer when bringing mouse over a file /
folder.
I have tried a solution mentioned in this forum to change registry settings
but it only fixes the local files NOT files on the network.
