File Open Frame

The File Open frame has suddenly taken on a size and shape of its own.

How do I resize and re-shape the File Open frame. Grabbing the edge of the
frame and resizing/reshaping does not work.

Any help would be appreciated.

If it's maximized, you can restore it by double-clicking the title bar.
Otherwise, sizing is accomplished by dragging on the bottom right corner.

Good monring Suzanne and thanks for the quick response.

Frist of all, I tried double-clicking on the title bar. The frame attempts
to resize itself for a brief second and then returns to the full-size. I can
get the double-resizing arrows when I go to the lower right corner but they
have no effect.

Back to you for some further ideas. And once again Thank you very much for
your assitance.

If you have a version of Word in which this dialog can be resized, then
these methods should work. If they don't, then the cause may be an add-in or
some other application that is causing a conflict.

Hi Again,

I am using Word 2007. I have been through the Beta versions and now have
the 60 Day Trial version awaiting the final release.

Everything on it works well except this. The File windows on all of the
other Office products works fine.

Any further thoughts?
