Can anyone help

Cameron

Insert the filename autotext at the end of your document.
Delete it when not required.

View Footer and Insert/Field select filename [Category = (All), Field names =
filename]. There are different options you may select from including a switch
to include the filename path.

Hope this helps.

No need for the Insert | Field dialog here, as the AutoText menu on the
Header and Footer toolbar has "Filename" and "Filename and path" entries
that will insert the field effortlessly.

That's true if the AutoText entries haven't been modified/customized as
most all of us at work have done. Since we use the AutoText feature
quite a bit we've removed all the defaults that came with Word.
