Hi,

at the top of my screen shows "Month:2"

Why is that and how do I get rid of that?

thanks

you have two copies of the same workbook at the same time. Go to the window
menu in excel, select arange and tiled. close one copy of the workbook &
resave

Somewhere along the way you activated Windows>NewWindow ("creating" :1, :2
window views) and then saved the file.

Simply close any extraneous "Month" windows (as indicated by the OpenFile
list under Excel's Windows menu) and re-save the file.

One more...

You actually have two windows open to the same workbook.

Select the one you don't want anymore and hit ctrl-w

Then save the workbook--or you'll be doing it again.

This can be a useful feature if you want to see different parts of the workbook
at the same time.

Window|New window
(to create that second window)

then
Window|Arrange|Horizontal (or the way you like it)

Hi,

Troubleshoot workbooks and worksheets

There is a ":1" or ":2" in my workbook title.

You have more than one window open for the active workbook. Switch to the
window you want to close, and then click Close Window in the upper-right
corner of the workbook window.

Note If you save a workbook while more than one window is open and then
close the workbook, the same number of windows will open the next time you
open the workbook. If you want to only one window the next time you open the
workbook, close all but one window before you save and close the workbook
