FILE MISSING OR REPLACED

On bootup XP PRO send dialog box saying "C:\windows\sys32
\Nvcpl.dll cannot be found. May need to reinstall"
Assuming I decide to reinstall this file. How do I do it?

you are running a norton product ?(antivirus ,etc.)

reinstall that

Nvcpl.dll is a NVIDIA file.
There isn't a "sys32" folder in XP, perhaps a typo, system32 is the folder
Nvcpl.dll should be in.
